For fans who have been to a NBA game...?

1-whats the first thing u see when entering the gym/at the court?is it players working on their individual stuff?

2.do player show up to (home) games whenever they want in their own car to the arena?

3.how is the order? is it: individual skills, then meet in lockerroom, then lay up line, then national anthem.. or whats the order?

4. when is it possible to enter the arena? can u like show up 3 hours before a game and just sit and watch players warm up`?

10 points for best answer!|||1. The first thing you see when entering the arena depends on what time you get there. If you get there 15 minutes before the game starts, then the first thing you'll see is a bunch of people scrambling around to find their seats or get some refreshments. If you get there an hour and a half early, then you'll see the players on the court shooting around and stretching.

2. Yes, players drive to the arena. Basketball is their job, so it's like they're driving to work. They are probably told when they should be there, and several players elect to get there quite a bit earlier to work on individual stuff, but that usually isn't seen by the public. (See answer 4.)

3. I don't know if there is a particular order to what they do in the pre-game warm-ups. If so, then it is set by the coach, and wouldn't necessarily have any reason to be made known to the public. For the most part, they just shoot around, stretch, and run a couple drills for a few minutes. They just need to get their body loose and warmed up, and get mentally focused. That's the main thing. I don't think the coaches care what they do, as long as they are getting those things done.

4. I would be surprised if you could get into an arena 3 hours before tip-off, but it's worth a shot. I think it would be cool, but even so, it would get a little boring after a while. If I am going to a game that starts at 7pm, I like to get there around 5:45. That gives you more than enough time to park, get inside, find your seats, watch the players warm up, and grab a snack and a drink before the concession lines get too long.

Hope that helps.
